So it has been some time since we changed the DayZ map, and spawns of cars and such. I’ve been keeping an eye on the logs and since the changes we have had a max of 6 people on at one time about two weeks after the change, other then that the most the have been on the server is 2 or 3 players at a time. (more…)
So the server has been down a few days now. In this time we have added a number or buildings/tents to the map, I have also imported the old character database into the new data base so those of you that were attached to your characters they remain intact. Tents and cars that had been stashed however will be reset. In the process of adding more cars and such to the server now.
So I got some things lined up for the server to make changes to it. And with only about 10 people max on the past two weeks I will take it down while I make the changes. You will see it pop up from time to time while we play around on it to view the changes and such, but during this time it will be a fresh server that may revert to fresh until everything is finalized. Everything on the current server will be backed up so if at any point we can always revert to the old server!
So the past week the DayZ server has seen a all time low for current players, and most of which are playing are new. Since the IP changed we seem to have lost alot of the regulars to the server, which really sucks seeing how there is a message on the server every ten minutes that tells people our IP might change so just search for us again. But the low player count is only part of my issue with the server now, my main issues is the fact that you can’t really play DayZ. Rest after the break (more…)
Plan to do a stream tonight around 6PM NFLD time (4:30 est). Now it may be on our own server or, might get a group together to have some fun on some other servers causing mayhem heh. So if you are interested check Twitch.tv/theagain or just click the Livestream tab above!
ISP was in today, hence the few hours the site was down. Guy didn’t even do anything just called into the office before he arrived asked them to restart the hardware and settings on the account and BAM, net went down for 2 mins and speeds were back. The extended downtime was due to a change in IP address, which takes time to update for the site. So all DayZ players take note, the servers IP has changed so you will need to search for it again.
